David Bruce
Treasurer and Trustee
David joined the trustees of the Rivet Group Trust, as it was then called, in 1990 after a reorganisation of the Trust’s activities. As the sole remaining trustee from those days, he has now gathered an enthusiastic team to join him in continuing the work of the charity under its new name Thrive Coventry. He has lived in Coventry for the past forty years and was a Vicar of two Church of England parishes in the city before his retirement.
Josh Bhathal
Chairman of the Trustees
Josh was invited to join the trustees of the Rivet Group Trust in 2017, and has been working hard to update the image of the charity in recent months. Having been born and brought up in Coventry, he attended schools in the city before graduating from University College London with a degree in BioChemistry. He now works for an international bank in London.
Alison Tumber
Secretary and Trustee
After a long career in education, from which she has recently retired, Alison joined the trustees in the summer of 2021. Prior to that she had been a teacher of Religious Education, and Head of Sixth Form at a leading Coventry school, so knows the city well.
